We were really surprised by the dimension of this show.
It was the first show after 2 or 3 years of pause in the Czech Republic and they started anew with a bang! There were all the big names of HiFi, there were really plenty of rooms full with all the strange stuff You find at an HiFi show and there were several rooms playing good music!
Our system was composed by:
- Accustic Arts Integrated amplifier
- Accustic Arts CD Player
- Dr. Feickert Turntable
- Cammino Power Harmonizer
- Chisto cables
- of course our Genuin FS 2
The enthusiasm of the public was involving. The music was playing. We had a Genuin Fun!
The most amazing thing: there we met by surprise some good friends, Lorenzo from MastersounD

Iluxcontent, filmed a short movie at Audio21 in the Netherlands. They tell me that it is quite entertaining… for those who speak Dutch.
It is about the good things for the men. The things that make life sweeter and worth the living.
It took the whole day to film, but Mark van Braam seems to be done for the show.
Take a look at it here:
We were there, and we had fun!!
We changed everything and in the end everything was even better than last year. What shall I write, the best sign of success is seeing people staying in the room long time and... something I take with me? A customer brought a CD of the Toccata and Fugue of Bach, the classic organ piece. This time I plaid loud and in the end I had such a fantastic feeling of satisfaction and completeness that I only seldom remember. That was music!
The power amplification: Octave V70SE with integrated in the Power Amplifier
Analog source: Dr. Feickert Woodpecker with Tonearm from Jelco and Lyra Delos Cartridge
Digital source: CD Transport from Audio Tonale with DAC from Hegel
Of course the whole cabling from Cammino including the power harmonizer.
If You wish to have a short view of what we did, take a look at the pictures here
These are the Words of Mark van Braam of Audio 21:
"The 12th October, Audio21 in Wapenveld NL held their vinyl-party. In three listening rooms, three sets, the first Gran Gioia with the new preamp of Sonore AC, in the second the FS2 ‘patchwork’ which is probably the most special pair of the world, also with the amps of Sonore AC. The third listening room was filled with the fun13, amp of Pathos Acoustics. And of course vinyl was always the source; Pluto and Dr. Feickert were ‘singing’. Outside in a tent, the local vinyl store showed their new stock. About 150 people came to this charming event, in the most charming hifi-shop of the Netherlands. Next year, the first weekend of may, the second edition of the ‘Vinylfuif’. The word ‘fuif’ is difficult to translate… an other word for ‘party’ which was used in the 80’s."

We were playing in Hotel Hotel Scandic Opalen, Room Bohus 1, under the flag of Old School HiFi.
The system was an "old school" system:

- Source: Turntable McIntosh MT5
- Cartridge: London Decca Special Gold
- Loudspeaker: our new Genuin FS 1 MK 2

The show was great!
Plenty of people interested in what we were making, people appreciating a lot our sound, people enjoying our kind of music and presentation, people spending hours at our booth.
Journalists enthusiastic about the result of our efforts.
Well, I must admit, it has been really convincing and really enjoyable, and honestly sometimes breathtaking for me!!
It made me eager for more. If You are curious, here You can browse the pictures of the show. See You soon in Scandinavia.
In the last part of his report from the Munich High End, Peter Breuninger put a video of our room in the show.
In his comments Peter says that there was a beautiful sound, had a lot of crispiness and no coloration.
At the end he apologized for the volume ...well, we should apologize for the volume, not he, but You know, when it sounds good, I tend to increase it more and more :-)
Thanks Peter for Your positive feedback!!
Here the link to AVShowrooms video on Youtube.
And here to the same video on Google+.
What an event. Tons of people, lot of contacts, huge interest. Bigger than ever. Gives confidence!
Here a little story about our experience at the show:
This is a panorama of our room, here You can enjoy more pictures, and here You can see the pictures made by Peter
The setup was impressive:

All in all I do not dare to count together the cost of the shown system and I honestly enjoyed it day by day more: it had each day development that brought it more and more in the direction of music.
- Thursday we started
- Friday we moved the loudspeakers
- Saturday we swapped cartridge to an AirTight Supreme Gold
- Sunday was the time of the Anna MC Cartridge of Ortofon
There was lot of people until the latest ours of the Sunday, our room was nearly constantly filled and we hardly come to visit the rest of the show.
The feedback of the public was enthusiastic and opened the way to further developments.
Sunday evening was a pity to dismantle the system and conclude the show... but now it is time to collect the results. See You in the Munich High End 2015!
More pictures will be available after the Munich High End ;-)
More pictures available since the 16th of Mai 2014 here!!

Lots of first times this time in Palermo.
First time in Palermo, the first impression was great.
First time Sony 4k projection presentation, wow gorgeous
…first time appeared a Blumenhofer product (and myself) in TV.
Here, You can see the reportage of this interview on YouTube.
Here, You can see the reportage directly embedded in the news. Scroll to 23rd minutes and soon after will start the interview.
All of this happened at Pick-Up HiFi, a 47 years old HiFi institution in Palermo, founded from Father Cefalù which Vincenzo e Fabio are continuing with love and engagement. Here extensive information about the event, in Italian
Besides that, which is only a small part of the huge amount of surprises we enjoyed, there were dozens of beautiful people and beautiful opportunity during the 2 days. Stay tuned to read the review of a listening section on AVMagazine.
The affluence of public has been enthusiastic and the people were really fit on music listening, able to appreciate the quality and ready to give good hints. We had lots of nice talks. If You have the impression that the pictures are of empty rooms, it is because we took them late in the evening when we had already spent all of our strengths
Thank You Vincenzo, Fabio, Carlo for making this possible. See You soon!!
If I made You curious, You can visit Pick-Up HiFi and/or take a look at our gallery of the event
This was our first participation to the Zürich High End 2013 and I must say it was a really positive surprise. Blumenhofer is in Switzerland an already well known and estimated brand and the public knew what they were looking for. Really enjoyable. Sound Revolution, our distributor for Switzerland has been able to make a very astonishing setup in that room.
The system was composed by:
- Gato Audio CD Player from Denmark
- Hegel Music System DAC with integrated Preamplifier from Norway
- Sauermann Audio Power Amplifier from Germany
- Wireworld and Cammino cabling from USA and Italy
- Cammino H3.1 Power Harmonizer from Italy
- and of course our Genuin FS 2
I must say, it made music and the public liked it really a lot, the comments of the people going out of the room were really cheering and pleased me and the team exposing in Zürich.
Then the spectacular atmosphere created by the artistic tapestry and the very pleasant environment completed the charm. It was a long work, but it was worth it.
A big thank You to André and Gerd for making this possible.
If I made You a bit curious, here You can find the picture gallery.
And here the list of products presented.
Then the 3 days show time, we had plenty of visitors staying in our room for longer time to enjoy the music and several potential dealers approached us too.
Even this year Marco de Wilde of Music2 presented an astonishing show in Veldhoven.
There have been 3 rooms with Blumenhofer Acoustics loudspeakers for a total of 5 systems playing.
Here You can enjoy a picture gallery of the systems playing.
Main rooms with Blumenhofer were:
- Music2 played a Genuin FS 2, a Tempesta 17 Surround set and a Tempesta 20
- STS Digital played a Genuin FS 1 and a Fun 17
- Sonore AC played a Gran Gioia
Like last year the atmosphere was really enthusiastic and during the show lot of people showed their interest for our products.
The online magazine Puresound.be released a report about a visit to our company during the Munich High End 2013. Here You can read it… in Dutch
The idea to participate has borne by chance during one of my visit to STS-Digital to evaluate the quality of the Groove into Bits CD and discuss some more points about marketing. And this is the question we had: how can we promote the brands in the most effective ways. Then we crosschecked our resources and decided to go again an unconventional way: we have the Blumenhofer Acoustics CD, why not to sell it at the show?
Some dazzling some phone call after we had the space at the fair and the equipment for displaying and playing the CDs.
The electronic of Pro-Ject has been supplied by ATR, the cabling and the power supply harmonizer by Cammino-HP. We used the stand as static display and as point of contact for the people interested in our products. And the interest was big. Nearly every person took a picture of our Gran Gioia: a great eye catcher!
During the show we had several visit of old friends and new potential distributors.
The visit of Van den Hul himself, the owner of the famous Van den Hul brand, brought some emotion to Mr. Trevisanello, the owner of Cammino. Mr. Van den Hul appreciated the look of our Gran Gioia.
Mr. Heinz Lichtenegger, director of Project, has been pleased by the quality of our CDs and recordings.
As usual we made lot of pictures, you can see them here:
On the 28th of January, Hartmut Quaschnik paid a visit to our company in Walkertshofen. He wrote a short report on his experience at our place. You can read it in english here.
Hartmut mentions that You are invited to visit us during the Munich High End. Please contact us in advance, there is only limited availability.
If You prefer reading the italian version of the article, You can find it here
We all know that the Munich High End is the most important european HiFi exposition.

- our nearly complete product range including the new introduced products. The Wiki was only present as development prototype
As usual, during the evenings, after show, we continued our show with special guests in Walkertshofen. Instead of going to dinner somewhere we spent time listening for music in our company.
I can tell you. They have been long days, but really fruitful.
The system was composed by:

- Dr. Feickert Analogue Turntable
- Grandinote Celio Pre Phono

We enjoyed the visit of lot of people and received really positive feedback on our 2 rooms.
Dimitri, Max und Gigi supported us in Room 374 with the Grandinote power amplifier and the Labtek Tube-SACD player.
We have been presenting with Einstein Audio Components in room Versailles.
Thank you all for being there.
